Celebration Give-Away

Repaired

This little jewellery box belonged to my Mum.  It now belongs to my sister, but the lining had come out from years of use.  She asked if I could re-line it so I've used my red felt to do it.  :)

I seem to have neglected the blog this week, but I have been rather busy ;)  I'll show you over a number of posts though, so you're not swamped :)

Flock of Sheep

I was asked to make some sheep bookends for a lovely customer...here they are with Sherlock, the company mascot.  They were also featured in Sherlock's blog :)

New Felt Colours!

I had a delivery of felt on Friday to replace dwindling stocks.  It also included 11 fabulous new colours (one was out of stock - boo!)  Anyway, they are mid blue, beige, bear red-brown, ox brown, orange-red, chick yellow, mustard, marl dark beige, marl dark grey, marl light grey and marl light beige.  Aren't they all scrummy!?  Available on the Website and on Etsy now.

Working my way through.

I've had a big list of things-to-do, which grew larger and larger while sewing the Merit badges.  Today, I've managed to make a start on clearing it :)  The above is a swatch for me, a swatch for a customer and a spare for the shops.  Then there was a special request for an Etsy customer for this 'Thank You' card.

I also managed to make a couple of these make-up bags.  One is for a customer for her Mother-in-Law on Mothers Day.

This evening I shall finish stuffing and decorating a fabric tree.  I haven't made one of these in ages so it should be fun. 

I wonder...

....what the customer in SOUTH AUSTRALIA!!! is going to be making with all this yummy felt?

What's housework?

There is no time for housework this week.  I'm still preparing while also trying to entertain a child on half term.  Do they not realise this Mum is not as organised as she would like to be?  There is only mild hysteria panic that I will not have enough stock for the November Fairs.

New Felt Bundles

I spent the afternoon yesterday making up these felt bundles for the website.  Just got to add the Pinks and the Earthy Tones then I'll be happy.

This morning I have spent most of my time updating the website and Etsy shop, checking stock levels, and adding new items.  After lunch I made more bath melts so the house smells amazing now...and I'm very calm ;o)

Another feature...

After the fishy tales yesterday I'm now featured on the lovely blog of Natalie over at Mostly Fabric :o).

I've been busy on a couple of new commissions which I'll show you once the customers have received them. I also spent yesterday updating my Etsy shop where I added some notebooks, pencil cases and the range of felt.  Thought I might as well try it out on there :o).  If you fancy taking a look it's here.

What a weekend!

What an amazing weekend!  Two rooms full of amazing people sharing their crafts with members of the public.  Saturday was the quieter of the two days, but we still had loads of people coming and talking and asking questions.  Sunday was very busy with people still walking round while we were packing away!  A definite success I think - one of which I hope shall be repeated :oD



While I was there I made some more notebooks and a few cards.  I shall endeavour to get these on the website today...unfortunately I have loads of 'paperwork' to do too.

Button Love and Notebooks

I got some more button love brooches finished yesterday - I started them at the craft fair last week!  I also made two more notebooks.  The new books arrived on Saturday too, so you'll be seeing a few more of those this week.  They should all be on the website later...school uniform is rather more important today ;o)
