Preparing

November is quite a scary month for Craft Fairs...there is only one weekend where I'm not doing anything.  I'm trying to prepare for them...up there in that piccie is a pile of pencil cases waiting to be finished.  The purple fabric is a commissioned order which I'll show you later as it's virtually finished now.  Today I'll also be sorting through the felt stocks and replenishing the basket that I take to the fairs.  I'll try no to stroke it too much ;)

Grrrrrrrrr....

Hehehe...I'm not actually sure whether this dinosaur would roar but anyway, he's off to his new home today - to sit on a little boys bed - so lets hope he's not too scary ;o)

Over a week!

Has it really been over a week!  I've got so much on at the moment it hardly seems possible that it's been over a week since I last posted.  There has been a birthday in the house - my littliest boy was 6.  I've had the ribbon man over again so watch this space for more ribbons and bias...ooh the bias I've chosen...mmmm.  I won't give any more details in case they are out of stock, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I've also been working on watermelons, on Christmas orders, the Merit badge order, booking a couple more events (I know I shouldn't!) and attending a Poppy Making Workshop run by a lovely felt maker friend.  Sue donates part of the workshop charge to the Poppy appeal so no-one loses out :)

Today I'm finishing more orders and I've started on some pencil cases as my fair stock is quite low considering the amount of fayres I have next month!  Back soon :o)

Treasury Feature

A wonderful bright treasury featuring my yellow felt sheet.  I kinda makes you want to get a cold doesn't it ;o)

Tea for Two?!

I love that my customers feel confident enough to say "can you just make.....?".  When they first ask I usually say "well, I never done that before but I'll give it a go".  That's what happened with this tea cosy and matching egg cosies.  They are for a 30th wedding anniversary.  The customer is putting together a breakfast tray, complete with tea pot, breakfast, etc, so she wanted these to go on it.

I was ridiculously pleased with how they turned out! And how apt the name is ;o)

This the the card too :o)

New Soap!

I've made a new variety called Spicy.  It has Ginger, Cardamon and Lemongrass essential oils in it....ooh, it smells delicious!

I've also managed to make more Rose...

...and more Lavender.  I'm just waiting for an essential oil order to replenish my stocks then I'll be making some more ready for Christmas.

Collaboration

Isn't it wonderful when you can combine skills with a lovely, talented person?  Claire over at Aisling Designs asked if she could use my soap for some beautiful felted soap she wanted to make for small Christmas Gifts. Of course I said, what a great idea.  So here they are, in her Etsy shop...wonderful Cinnamon Felted Soaps.

New Ribbons!

Phew...it's been such a busy time!  I had two fabulous events then I went on a little family holiday to Centre Parcs.  We had a fantastic time swimming, walking and chilling out.  Now's its back to the other fun stuff ;o)

Just before I went away the rest of the ribbon order arrived.  I was rather excited but only managed to get them all on the website today.  I've added a couple of new sections - Stars and Christmas - to your choice of ribbons.

I've also started stocking bias binding.  This is the most gorgeous bias...dainty hearts on ecru.  All are now available on the website.
