New! Bath Scrubs and Bath Melts

I finally got all the necessary things together to introduce you to my new scrummy items.  The above are Cocoa butter and Shea butter bath melts - this variety is geranium rose, and for an order already.  I shall also be doing lavender, orange & lemon, ylang ylang, patchouli and orange, or your own variation on those oils.

And these are the salt scrubs, again this is for an order (orange and lemon).  I'm not sure whether these will go on the website because the postage will be a lot more than a normal parcel...I'll have to see what I can do as they are gorgeous!  There will also be a variety of these too which will complement the sweet almond oil, sunflower oil and jojoba oil, plus for those with a more sensitive skin there is also sugar instead of salt.

...then got the littlest boy to pick out a name....

...well done to Scented Sweetpeas.  I'll get your parcel in the post tomorrow for you :o)

Thank you to everyone who took the time to enter.  I do hope you'll all think of me when buying your crafty goodies.

What a weekend!

What an amazing weekend!  Two rooms full of amazing people sharing their crafts with members of the public.  Saturday was the quieter of the two days, but we still had loads of people coming and talking and asking questions.  Sunday was very busy with people still walking round while we were packing away!  A definite success I think - one of which I hope shall be repeated :oD

While I was there I made some more notebooks and a few cards.  I shall endeavour to get these on the website today...unfortunately I have loads of 'paperwork' to do too.

Artisans in Action

Getting rather excited about Artisans in Action this weekend!  36 local artisans all together, working, demonstrating, sharing, teaching, spreading the crafting love.  The car is all loaded, now I'm just prepping my work basket.  Before I go though, I just wanted to show you my new packaging for the brooches and keyrings...

..what do you think?  I wanted something simple that could be recycled easily (or re-used as with the paper twist ties).  Right off to finish packing my basket with lots of work for the weekend.  Oh, don't forget the give-away...I think you all must be shy as your all coming for a look but not entering!  Go on..it might just be you you know ;o)

Quality Assured

I had my request to join the Country Crafts Association approved last month, and managed to get my membership sent off.  All the stuff arrived yesterday, so now I have a few more forms to fill in, but it also means I get to display the logo on my website, blogs and stall when at fairs :oD

"Our aim is to promote our crafts giving customers Quality Assurance of the hand-made products we sell"

Have you entered the give-away yet?

Button Love and Notebooks

I got some more button love brooches finished yesterday - I started them at the craft fair last week!  I also made two more notebooks.  The new books arrived on Saturday too, so you'll be seeing a few more of those this week.  They should all be on the website later...school uniform is rather more important today ;o)

PS don't forget to enter the give-away

The felt is now available on the website...woohoooooo :oD

The buttons are also available too.

The give-away will be ready to tomorrow...make sure you come back as it's gonna be a good one :oD

Gorgeous Deliveries

Two lovely deliveries today....first off these lovely quality buttons all the way from Italy!  I'm still waiting for over half the order but hey, these are here now :o).  They are all photographed so I just need to get them on the website.

Second delivery is my new cardstock.  All these gorgeous piles of pearlescent card.

I've also got all the felt scanned now (photographing it all just didn't show the colours properly) so I also need to get those onto the website too.  I've think I've got the basics for the give-away sorted out so not long to wait now.  Looks like I'm in for a busy evening too ;o).

Ready for the salt scrubs...

Finally got my jars from Ikea (they'd been out of stock due to a slight change to the design) so now I can make a start on my yummy salt scrubs.  I also got myself a flower ice cube tray to try with the bath melts..now I just need to find a lovely paper-y bag to supply them in as I don't like the cellophane ones.  I've also ordered more notebooks and I've got some pearl card coming tomorrow..although I haven't decided yet whether I'm actually going to have that for sale on the website.

This is a little order for someone who wanted some letters to sew onto her little boys plimsol bag for school :o)

Very exciting parcel...

Just after I posted that last post there was a knock at the door...excitement was rather an understatement as I've been waiting for this box to arrive.  Want to see what's in it?

Aaah...how lovely is that sight?!  Want to see some more?  Here you go then (no drooling now ;o).....

....I really didn't mind if you did a bit of drooling :o).  This gorgeous 100% pure wool felt will be on the website by the weekend.  I shall be having a big give-away to celebrate finally having it here (I've been wanting this to happen for soooo long) so get ready to tell all your friends :o)

Ooh, and a not so exciting piece of mail...my very first self assessment tax form!

Artisans in Action - next Event

I feel I should make this extra large so you can understand the excitement that surrounds this event.  It was put together by two lovely ladies to help inform the public about the work that actually goes into making things by hand, rather than some mass produced item shipped in from some far off land.  I was invited to attend so I feel very honoured to be taking my soaps, cards and gifts.  I shall be sewing over the actual weekend as I'm not insured to demostrate soap making yet...something to think about in the future I think :o).

Friday 6 April 2012

New - Gorgeous Notebook

I've had these on my list of things to do for ages, so yesterday (after finally finding some A6 books I was happy with) I sat and made this one.  I'll make a small selection before I add them to the website though, but I wanted to show you all this as I love it :o)

Wednesday 4 April 2012

Publicity

There was an article on the local newspapers website about the NACC Fair I attended on 24th March.   Never did like my picture taken even if it means publicity ;o)
