Inspiration

 A new style of brooch, inspired by the wreath I made for our bathroom...

...which then turned into a hair clip (as per a customer's request).  I love my job ;)

I'd like to introduce you to the new flower brooch range.  Let me show you the new...

I love them all - loved designing them, making them and then delivering them to the customer that actually set me on this new path.  The response I got when I showed them on facebook was amazing too..the best I've ever had.  I hope you lovely blogger peeps like them too.

New idea in the making

I'm in the process of making a couple of crafty kits...the first one being this flower brooch.  I've had these on my list of things to do for months, but now I've got myself a new 'things to do today book' I'm actually getting more things done ;o)

I also made some melts today using petit fours cases instead of the silicon mould I usually use.  I think I like them...they certainly don't break now as I don't need to remove them from the cases.

Flower Brooch

This is the card I made Mother's Day...the flower is actually a brooch.  I'm thinking I could make some for the shop too :o)

Ooh, this is my table at the craft fair yesterday.  Someone had told me not to bother with this one as it wasn't very good, but I gave it a shot anyway.  I had a good time, with lots of people stopping to chat and meeting lots of other lovely crafters.  My day was made when a customer stopped and said 'Oh, I'm so glad your here my soap has nearly all gone' - fabulous :o)
