Ladybirds and Flowers and Cats....

...hopefully this means that Spring is just round the corner.  It feels lovely sat there with the birds singing and the sun coming through the windows (and everyone else in bed so it's mighty quiet ;) ).

I finally managed to get the ladybird cards finished...they look fantastic with the farmyard cards.

I've also had a special request for a cat that could sit on a desk while the customer worked...so here they are.  They stand 6 inches high and can be made in any colour felt that I stock :)

I'm trying to make a pile of card toppers while waiting for supplies for another custom order.  These will be for Birthday and Thank you cards.

Pretending it's Spring

I haven't made one of these for ages (not since an Autumn one) but I needed something different to do so plucked this out of the WIP pile.  I LOVE it!  It was fun to do while watching the Brits.

I've also got a few more dribble bibs waiting for their press studs.

Working my way through.

I've had a big list of things-to-do, which grew larger and larger while sewing the Merit badges.  Today, I've managed to make a start on clearing it :)  The above is a swatch for me, a swatch for a customer and a spare for the shops.  Then there was a special request for an Etsy customer for this 'Thank You' card.

I also managed to make a couple of these make-up bags.  One is for a customer for her Mother-in-Law on Mothers Day.

This evening I shall finish stuffing and decorating a fabric tree.  I haven't made one of these in ages so it should be fun. 

First

My first fair of the year was yesterday.  I had a great time and met some lovely folks.  It was also great to see the other crafters.  Unfortunately it made me realise how little stock I have!  Mega sewing sessions for me in the coming weeks..not only re-stocking everything, but working my way through my order book too.

Finished...for now!

Here's the last badges of the first run :)  190 in total, plus the initial 10 that was sent a few weeks ago.  I would let me fingers rest but now I have soaps to re-stock, other sewing orders to make a start on and a fair to get ready for this Saturday.  Who needs to rest anyway :)

Over Half way

This is the reason I have been very quiet on here - 133 badges so far...57 to go, plus 4 more prototypes.  I have rather sore fingers but the end is in sight ;)
