Working my way through.

I've had a big list of things-to-do, which grew larger and larger while sewing the Merit badges.  Today, I've managed to make a start on clearing it :)  The above is a swatch for me, a swatch for a customer and a spare for the shops.  Then there was a special request for an Etsy customer for this 'Thank You' card.

I also managed to make a couple of these make-up bags.  One is for a customer for her Mother-in-Law on Mothers Day.

This evening I shall finish stuffing and decorating a fabric tree.  I haven't made one of these in ages so it should be fun.

Hello 2013

Well a big hello to you all.  Apologies for taking so long to say hi but I've had this horrid cold thing (that I still have), so I just haven't got much done at all.  The above stitchings were done between Christmas and New Year...what do you think of the new Minecraft Birthday Card and the notebook.  My kids love Minecraft so it seemed quite fitting that I should make something a bit more boy-ish.

Since then I've managed to sort out some of my pre-loved vintage buttons.  They are available to purchase in 50g bags.

I've also put together some scrummy Valentines Felt and Crafty Packs.  There are three sorts - the felt bundles are on the website and on Etsy, and the lovely pack is only on Etsy.

While lots of sitting has been going on I did my first ever tax return too!  Not that exciting I know, but it is my first ;)

Right, back to it...ooh, I did manage to get some soap made yesterday as stock levels are seriously low.  Patchouli and Orange and Ylang Ylang will both be ready on 6th February.

2012 - Wow!

At the start of the year was my first ever craft fair - 3 months after learning to drive.

I'm now stocking the felt that I love to use, as well as ribbons, buttons, bias, card and trimmings.

I've been to my first trade fair...as Handmade Haven.

I've sent parcels all round the world  (and now have a map to stick pins in).  I've made things that I never would have attempted unless someone said "Can you just make me....."

I've worked with/I'm working with some amazing businesses - both local and international.

By the end of the year I've done numerous fairs and events and now, now I have my very own workshop!

I feel slightly overwhelmed and rather humbled to think of all my goodies spread across the world, to think of everything I've achieved this year.  This would not have been possible without my fabulous Hubby who encourages me continually, who put up the workshop and made it perfect, who is the perfect soul mate.  I've also met some fabulous people doing the craft fairs..many whom I think I can now call a friend, as with many of my online customers, who return for more things - I must be doing something right ;)

So, to 2013.  I have already got my first Soap Making Demo booked for the beginning of January!  Ooh, I can't wait to see what the rest of the year is going to bring :)

Lots of....

Lots of cards being made...

..and pamper sets being made...

...plus the Angels...

..lots of felt orders going out (all round the world!)...

and mini sets given as fund raiser gifts.  There's lots of 'normal' orders too.

The workshop is coming on!  I shall be having an open day on 15th December (11-4) for anyone who would like to pop in and see me/the workshop.  Contact me if you're interested :)

I have my last little fair today before I finish up some Christmas orders, make some Merit badges then hopefully get on with some of my Christmas stuff....I haven't even made the cake yet!
