Phew, what a made week again.  Whoever said January was the quiet month had it wrong ;)

I now have the melts and scrubs in the soap shop.  There's lots planned, and more soaps becoming ready for adding too, so keep popping in.

My lovely Hubby secretly booked a trip to Warner Bros Studio Tour so I could see Hogwarts in snow.  We had a fab time, and we were child free.  Being home-educators it's a complete rarity having a day to ourselves that doesn't involve my work.

There's also been lots of bunting made this week, but this is the only one I can show you at the minute.

Right, off to make some melts for an order and cut some soaps, then I'm off to visit a craft fair :)

Re-vamped Bunting

When I first started making bunting I would fasten it all together with twine.  I loved how it looked..nice and rustic..but then I got to thinking about how people would wash it!  So over the past week I have unpicked, re-ironed (shocking activity as I don't iron normally ;o) ), then trimmed, pinned and stitched it all back together with sensible bias binding.  They're back in the shop now :o)

Yesterday we had a day at a local Vdub show where I found this gorgeous basket.  I need one for a new shop venture which may take off in a couple of months and if it's not suitable for that I'll use it on the stall when I attend the fairs.  Oh, I've already booked my first for next year :o)

Jubilee Bunting

Are you ready for the Jubilee celebrations?  Maybe your having a Eurovision party!  How about the Olypmics?  Well, here's some gorgeous bunting to help you celebrate.

I've also got some Rose soap made today...smells divine.  This will be ready on 8th June :o)

Patriotic and Moustaches!

Well hellooo.  How are you all today?  I'm trawling through a very huge list of things to do, that definitely seems to grow the more I do!  I was contacted by a lovely lady on Etsy, who informed me she'd included my owl (hedwig) notebook on her Buy Handmade British blog.  Why not pop over for a look at all the gorgeous things shes picked today.

I've also been busy making salt scrubs, bath melts and new moustaches, as someone wanted them larger than my normal ones.  I forgot to photograph the one she actually bought off me but I shall make some more :o).  I've also got to make someone a decorative tea cosy with my flowers on it and I've got some fab fabric for some jubilee/olympics bunting to keep me out of mischief too :o).  Hope your all busy too (but not with housework or anything boring like that ;o) )
